About Glanmire Family Practice

Glanmire Family Practice is a newly established general practice in Brooklodge East, Glanmire, Co. Cork. It has been set up by Dr Colleen Hopkins to serve the increasing demand for excellent, evidence based community healthcare in the vibrant and growing suburb of Glanmire and surrounding townlands. 

We have put together a strong clinical and administrative team and we are looking forward to opening our doors on the 13th August 2026. 

Our surgery is wheelchair accessible. There is plenty of parking at the practice. We offer a full range of GP services to medical card and private patients including antenatal and post-natal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and regular check-ups. We also provide chronic disease management clinics and a complete suite of family planning services. 

We are open to registering new patients. Please call or complete the ‘New Patient Registration’ form. Alternatively email reception@glanmirefamilypractice.ie.

For repeat prescriptions please allow 72 hours notice so that we can prepare your prescription and send it to your nominated pharmacy. Please order by telephoning reception or emailing reception@glanmirefamilypractice.ie. Please advise your name, date of birth and list of medications required.
