Dr Éabha Ní Mhurchú

Dr Éabha Ní Mhurchú is a proud graduate of Coláiste an Phiarsaigh and obtained her medical degree from UCC with scholarship in 2008. Following her intern year in Cork she spent 6 months volunteering as a medical doctor with The Billy Reardon Clinic in Malawi. She went on to continue in hospital medicine in Cork for a year before completing her GP training with the Sligo General Practice Training Scheme in 2015. 
 
She has worked as a GP in Cork since 2015, gaining vast experience in both rural and urban practices, as well as college doctor with MIT. Enhancing her work in general practice she has also worked in CUH as GP in the Emergency Department in 2018 and also worked as Senior Medical Officer with the HSE in 2020. 
 
Dr. Éabha’s areas of special interest and expertise include women’s health- obtaining a diploma from the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2013 and an advanced certificate in LARC (long acting reversible contraception), dermatology & aesthetic medicine- obtaining a certificate from the Irish College of General Practitioners in Roaccutane prescribing in 2026.  
 
Dr. Éabha is an experienced GP who understands the challenges of balancing family, work and personal wellbeing. She is proud to be part of the practice team and looks forward to supporting patients in achieving their best possible health.
